Travel Theme: Red

Ailsa has challenged us with the Travel Theme: Red this week.  I haven’t had a chance to travel lately and been confined to New York City due to commitments, both personal and professional.  However, I try to sneak in some day-trips around the city whenever I get a chance and spend the day visiting some interesting corner of the city or take a trip just outside the city.  These pictures are from one such day.

The Bodies Exhibition is both amazing and informative giving us a chance to marvel at our inner beauty.

This little store on the water front sells handmade leather accessories – the cutest little key chains, coin purses, sling bags, cell phone covers, jewelry, etc. each one carefully handcrafted in the shape of owls, kittens, baby elephants, etc.
