Working in a large academic medical center in one of the nation’s most popular cities, New York, I’ve access to happenings in healthcare at such a rapid pace that it is impossible to keep up. So, how does the layman keep up with the healthcare reform, new regulations, new medical procedures and clinical studies? I hope to chronicle some of the week’s top medical and healthcare issues in these columns, which will hopefully help some folks. Also included will be general medical/health posts. I am a foodie and cannot resist posting some healthy recipes occasionally. I am not sure how often I’ll blog, may be a weekly post or sometimes two or three posts if time permits. Hope you will enjoy the ride.

It was in October 2011 that I began blogging with the intention of posting health/medical posts, and knew I would post recipes as well. Well, it has been quite a ride with many bloggers following my blog and commenting on my posts. Interestingly, the healthcare/medical posts were least read and commented upon when I did write about healthcare. Now, the name of my blog seems irrelevant and so I must change the name of the blog – not yet sure what I’ll call it. Stay tuned….and thank you for stopping by.
