Ailsa posted the Travel Theme: Spooky last week, and loads of spooky pictures were posted. Probably this post is the last one for the challenge – these pictures were taken this evening as New Yorkers hit the streets in their spooky outfits. The Halloween Parade in New York City’s West Village was cancelled due to the hurricane, but in my part of the world, life seemed to go on as usual.
A storm brought down several trees in my neighborhood, and this was one majestic tree resting peacefully on the ambulance – did someone regret parking the ambulance there?
This morning I had to attend an early meeting and left home as the sun was rising. On a normal day when I leave for work, the sun is bright in the sky, but today it was barely peeking out behind the apartments and between the trees. 
I couldn’t stop myself from clicking a few pictures of the sun and the “Hope” it brings to the world as it makes its grand appearance.
Hope….like the lamps glowing…to a new dream, new beginning, and peace…
Never deprive someone of hope; it might be all they have….
